Subsea Acoustic Leak Detection
The ALD® is the system for the subsea leak detection
developed by CO.L.MAR: a proprietary, cutting-edge
technology for the inspection of different offshore
environments worldwide.
This system has been tested in an extensive range of offshore
environments including strong currents, zero visibility, shallow
and ultra deep-water detecting leaks on buried pipelines,
flanges, clamps, risers, pipe in pipe, well head etc.
As a result of these field experiences, we can confirm
that acoustic is the most reliable technique to detect escapes
and thus the most efficient underwater leak detection system.
With a large field experience and good track record, our
sensors could be deployed on any type of ROV, AUV, towed
fish or a diver detecting various kinds of leaks underwater.
